- Vineyard: Planted in 1977 and 2014. Situated in the highest part of the eastern tip of La Rioja. North facing and a continental-atlantic climate. Altitude 500-600m.
Petrocalcic origin, glacis, gravel, sand and loam defines the vinayeard soil structure. Hot soils with medium-low moisture retention depending on sand composition.
- Vinification: Pre fermentative maceration to preserve the floral aromas and colour extraction. Fermentation in concrete (with a percentage of stems to bring freshness and tannins) at 24ºC. Aged in different materials (amphora, 600-litre barrels and concrete). Blended and aged in French 225 l barriques for 10 months.
