Colheita is a distinguished aged Tawny Port crafted from a single vintage, made exclusively with grapes from the oldest vineyards on the Quinta do Crasto estate. This wine embodies tradition and craftsmanship, created in tribute to the esteemed Port producer Constantino de Almeida.
While Colheita Ports are legally required to age for at least 7 years in wooden casks, many—like this one, mature for decades, often up to 50 years, offering exceptional depth and remarkable value.
It pours a bright amber hue, with an intense and layered nose of caramel, honey, candied orange peel, and toasted nuts. On the palate, it is richly textured and beautifully structured, with fine tannins and superb concentration. Lighter and more nuanced than a Vintage Port, it reveals a subtly oxidised complexity and a long, elegant finish.
Serve it slightly chilled alongside a cheese board, and you’ll have a truly unforgettable pairing.
