- Food Matching: Pair with five spice-rubbed duck breast with blueberries, roasted soya-rubbed salmon with tarragon or roasted beetroot and fennel with toasted cumin seeds and feta.
- Vineyard: The vineyard is situated on the warm free draining Gimblett Gravels in Hawkes Bay, NZ, and is managed using sustainable practices.
- Vinification: The outstanding 2019 growing season continued with a long dry autumn allowing all red grape varieties to slowly mature and maintain varietal character and acheive ripe tannins. The Chatterer Syrah was fermented in small stainless steel vats . Once pressed the new wine was transferred to French oak barrels for 16 months maturation. before bottling in November 2020.
