A glorious marriage of altitude, climate, landscape and a winemaker’s skill, these wines overflow with incredible intensity. The McW 660 Reserve Pinot Noir is an elegant, medium-bodied wine with red cherry fruits. Earthy spices and complex mushroom notes with lively acidity lead to a velvety long finish.
Basic Burgundy can be a real bargain and this tangy, refreshing wine is just that: full of raspberry, redcurrant and wild strawberry, moreish and refreshing. Possibly higher end on cost but well worth the extra. Wont disappoint.
This fine-grained Pinot Noir from Oregon's much-admired Willamette Valley resembles a parcel of red fruits tied up with silk ribbon: strawberries, redcurrant, rhubarb and raspberry, with a dollop of honey and a silky finish.
2017 Ulterior Mazuelo Parcela No.4 Organic, Bodegas Verum
Cherry red with medium dark red rim, bright. it is complex with good intensity with earthy memories, roots and subtle mineral touch. It is balsamic and evokes memories of aromatic herbs, all in the context of red fruits and plum.. The herbs bring freshness and a subtle memory of black liquorice, balsamic. On the palate it shows an excellent acidity and balance with mature red fruits. A persistent rounded fresh wine. In the aftertaste it is persistent with remarkable strawberry character. Mazuelo - 100%
