2014 was an exceptional growing season and the optimal health and maturity of the grapes is reflected in the Merlot based blend, The Nest. Fragrant, with aromas of red rose, violet, dark plums and spice. Mouth filling, lush and full bodied with sustained depth and velvety texture through the palate. Flavours of black doris plums and sweet, spicy leather abound. Well rounded and blanced by fine supporting tannins.

2019 Airen Las Tinadas Organic, Bodegas Verum
Probably the very finest Airén wine in the world. "Gosh this is good," says Jancis Robinson: "a superb effort" and "ridiculously inexpensive." "Who could imagine Airén could be this exciting," according to Luis Gutierrez of The Wine Advocate. White nectarine, peach, blanched almond and cider apple character. Brisk, bright, lean and long. Made by rising star winemaker, Elias López Montero, whose grandparents recognised this parcel of vines as their best plot of Airén, this is from ungrafted vines - i.e., grown on their own roots. Organically farmed.
Full-bodied Rioja, packed with cherries and heady with flower petals, the whole given depth and seriousness by whiffs of tobacco, cedar and toasty oak.
Ruby red colour with garnet reflections. Full bodied bouquet, with a delicate violet scent. Dry on the palate, yet velvety, harmonious and very persistent at the same time. Very well balanced, with distinct class and style.
This fine-grained Pinot Noir from Oregon's much-admired Willamette Valley resembles a parcel of red fruits tied up with silk ribbon: strawberries, redcurrant, rhubarb and raspberry, with a dollop of honey and a silky finish.
Clear & bright in the glass with hints of gold and tinge of green. Ripe citrus fruit with text book mineral crispness and fresh rounded finish. Sauvignon Blanc - 100%
