The Merle represents the pinnacle of Riesling at Pikes, showing concentration, sense of place and purity. Refined and delicate aromas of freshly cut lime, citrus blossom. There are mineral notes that speak to origin of the wine. Complex aromas of carraway seed add to the mix. Mouth watering from the start, a highly concentrated mix of sweet lime, bright acid and talcy texture. A long dry finish completes the experience

"Who could imagine Airén could be this exciting," according to Luis Gutierrez of The Wine Advocate. White nectarine, peach, blanched almond and cider apple character. Brisk, bright, lean and long. Made by rising star winemaker, Elias López Montero, whose grandparents recognised this parcel of vines as their best plot of Airén, this is from ungrafted vines - i.e., grown on their own roots. Crimson in colour developing hints of amber with maturity. Broad, rich, penetrating and showing maturity on the nose. On the palate, medium sweet with a good acid backbone, velvety and delicious with dried raisin characteristics reminiscent of Muscat. Aleatico - 100%

Crimson to scarlet in colour. This wine has a complex nose of black currant and plum notes, complemented with white pepper and violets. The well balanced palate shows cool dark fruit pastille, hints of violet and fine spices. The wine finishes with soft elegant tannin. Decant 30 minutes prior to serving. Xinomavro - 100% Aromas of strawberry, cherry and rose petals, combined with spicy notes, tomato, olive tapenade, tobacco box, sweet spices and vanilla. The wine’s aromatic power and structure reveal strong character and great ageing potential.
