Wild-ferment Chardonnay with the rich texture of double cream restrained by a fine minerality, overflowing with melon and peach and scented with long-lasting notes of vanilla.
Complex, well-structured Barossa Valley Shiraz, perfumed with dark cocoa, black pepper and coffee, the mouth packed with blackberry and ripe cherry.
Lifted aromas of berry fruits, dark cherry, five spice and deep cacao chocolate combine seamlessly with a sweet fruit palate that showcases all the elements present on the nose. The bright fruit acidity drives freshness on the palate where the fine 'old vine' tannins gently resolve with a subtle savoury earthiness and complexity.
A youthful and juicy 'Nouveu' style red wine drawing inspiration from the Rhone. A mix of light and dark fresh ripe berried fruits, cured meats and lifted spice on the nose sets you up for mouthful of savoury and gamey flavour in the mouth.
A wonderfully juicy and bright Grenache! The wine is only just medium bodied, which, when combined with the bright acidity and the complex but fresh aromatic makes it such a refreshing and enjoyable drink that can be enjoyed with almost any food!
The wine is jam packed with Barossa Shiraz flavours....plums, black fruits and warm spices of cinnamon, nutmeg and 5 spice. There’s a touch of mid palate sweetness, some mocha and black olive and the soft tannins are integrated seamlessly through the mid palate. The subtle use of oak allows the rich dark fruit to take center stage. A wonderful fruit driven expression of Barossa Valley Shiraz and outstanding value too.
Bursting with punchy aromas of boysenberry, raspberry and cherry, with violet, candied flowers and all spice adding to the mix. This Shiraz is powerful but lithe and precise. Finishes with outstanding clarity thanks to a sexy floral note and silky tannins. Finely integrated new and seasoned French oak.
Dark cherry, blueberry, raspberry and chocolate, intermingled with subtle spices and earthy graphite notes. The medium palate weight and silky texture profile are hallmark ‘Eastside’. Black cherry and blueberry fruit point to the wine’s delicious acid structure, whilst hints of aniseed and lightly charred oak provide interest. The long lasting yet soft tannin profile is accompanied perfectly by the bright fruit core to create a balanced finish.
Many-layered Shiraz from South Australia, wafting blossom and black pepper into the nose, mulberry, rhubarb and plum into the mouth, followed by a lasting hit of aniseed, liquorice and spice.
The nose evokes all those childhood memories of picking wild blackberries, mulberries and raspberries, complete with woody spice and brambly notes. The palate shows further layers of complexity woven through the sweet berry fruits. Earthiness shines through, perhaps even a suggestion of rich beef reduction, leather and walnut. Chewy tannins complete this generous and complex wine. A pleasure to match with all kinds of rich, meaty dishes.
Pinot Noir from a single block on Australia's Mornington Peninsula, so perfumed it’s intoxicating before you take a drop: sandalwood, red fruits, kola nut and dried orange peel, the aromatic promise delivered in tangy, satisfying mouthfuls
Intense black fruits, plum and blueberry aromatics give way to layers of dark chocolate, licorice and warm spices while hints of charcuterie add extra complexity. The fine oak tannins focus in on the palate, driving a line of dark, rich fruit before relaxing in confident fashion to unveil savoury complexity and a long finish.
This both looks and smells dark purple. On the nose, whortleberry, aronia and purple grape at first; revealing nuances of clove, star anise, stargazer lily, musk, leather and iron as it opens in the glass. In the mouth, it is super-refined: intense and concentrated in flavour, while having gorgeous soft succulence of texture. There is a sprinkling of powdery tannin - discernible but oh so delicate. Undoubtedly a great wine, it would be intriguing to watch this evolve for 15 years or longer - but it's oh-so irresistible already. Utterly harmonious. Farvie Syrah is a selection of fruit picked exclusively from the 'morning' side of the vine rows, which ripens more slowly and gently than fruit exposed to the afternoon sun.
This is a wine of great presence, loaded with classic Cabernet Sauvignon characters of cassis, plums, cedar, red capsicum and violets. Despite the depth and complexity of the fruit, the palate remains true to Cabernet form, providing a sleek mouthfeel framed by a long line of fine, chalky tannins. Powerful, aromatic, persistent and charming all at once. While this wine offers enough fruit to be enjoyed in youth, expect 5-8 further years of careful cellaring to enhance its overall quality and enjoyment.
Pinot Noir with a leavening dash of Mourvèdre from Victoria, south-east Australia, delivering baskets of cherry and strawberry to the mouth, complemented by bracken, fresh earth and a touch of oak on the nose.
A vibrant display of red and blue jubey fruits, intertwined with five spice and cinnamon. Charry oak and some herbal characters adding complexity. Palate. The soft blue and red berry characters follow on to the palate. Shiraz providing a mouthful of plush spicey-sweet fruit, whilst Tempranillo plays its hand by contributing a deliciously rustic, savoury tannin profile.
The Shiraz offers dark plum fruits, mulberries and licorice with plenty of concentration, depth and velvety tannin. The Grenache adds a lovely lusciousness to the wine with raspberry, blueberry and floral notes adding prettiness. Both of the afore mentioned varieties also give a little white pepper character which has been accentuated in the cooler vintage and really acts as a point of interest. Finally, the Mourvedre provides a perception of elegance and restraint through its red fruits with a hint of dried herb and fine chalky tannin.
Classic South Australian Shiraz, a smooth blend of juicy dark fruit, a hint of chocolate and lively spice, including the familiar black pepper.
